A Pool Tournament, is a competition between several players who compete in separate matches. The tournament is run in a cup format consisting of a quarter final, semi final, etc. The winners within each match go on to compete against each other until the final winner is announced based on the rules of the specific tournament. The fixture of players is determined randomly and the prize is presented in the tournament information window. The prize is based on the buyin minus house commission of 10%. For example, if the total buyin for each player is 10$ and the minimum prize is 90$, 9$ out of each player's buyin will go to the prized pool and 1$ for the house commission. If a player is not logged in when the tournament starts, he will not be able to participate and he will not lose any money, as the buy in will not be taken from him. There are several types of turnaments, which are scheduled daily or monthly, allowing players to compete at different levels, improve their game, meet new playing partners, and even win an award.
